Shame

2020-11-05

While being reliant on a wheelchair, I keep coming
across people abusing disabled parking spaces. Today
I was in a position where I needed to park at my
doctors office, and both (two) disabled spots were
taken. One was occupied by a small car
with their hazards on, and no placard on display.
This meant a longer wheelchair ride for me. I decided
that I would start sharing images of these types of instances.

This lady was parked here when we arrived. An hour later, still parked in the only disabled spot, standing outside the idling vehicle, smoking. I suspect she was waiting for someone, which is misuse of the parking space.
