Rear Fender Trimming






Let's get started.




Fill panel removed.




Bumper and fill panel removed.




Bumper and fill panel. I will also be doing
some work on the bumper while it is off.

I had a few requests for more detailed pictures of what is going on up in behind the fender.....




Right side, looking straight up (shackle to the right).

The wiring for the tail lights runs through the crossmember
that is being cut, so I figured I should get it out of the way.

  About 5lbs of rusty, dirty metal.




Ready for the bumper.

When the bumper was off I welded
on some studs for mud flaps.

I also welded in a receiver tube, and mounted
the back-up lights between the tubes.




The flaps are easily removeable
when I hit the trail.
