October 21/2001 @ Thurston Mountain

In Attendance:
Chris - Ford Bronco (blue)
Ed - Jeep YJ (black)

I was itching to hit the trail after getting the engine rebuilt, so Ed and I headed out to Chilliwack to do some exploring. It was raining
all day, and we hit snow at aroung 2000 feet. We had to end the trip early due to my transfercase making some strange noises.

The first sign of snow at 2000 feet.

This at 4100 feet; plenty of snow falling.

Near the main road. What a difference
a few thousand feet makes.

Ed spotted some salmon spawning.

One salmon was stuck, so Ed crossed
the creek to save it.
