March 31/2001 @ Mamquam FSR

In Attendance:
Chris - Ford Bronco (blue)
Jamie & Michelle - Chevrolet S-10 ZR2 (black)
Doug - Jeep Commanche (red)
Kristian - Toyota (black)

A couple of us from work wanted to head out for a day of casual wheeling, so we decided on the Squamish area. We departed from
North Vancouver at 9 a.m. on Sunday, and proceded up the the Mamquam FSR where we aired down. Due to all the snow, we
ended up exploring some side trails, then headed home earlier than planned. Just a good day of wheeling!

This is on Mamquam FSR after we decided
to turn around. We were only around 10 km
in, and the snow was slippery and getting
deeper. Traction was very difficult.

I was the first to turn around.

Waiting for.....?

Waiting for Doug to get himself un-stuck.

Kristian got stuck while turning around, so
Doug gave him a tug. Well, that tug bent
Kristian's bumper pretty good. Later on we
tugged it the other way to get it back the way
it should be.

Is the bumper supposed to bend like that?

Kristian turning around.

Of course he has to show off a bit.

Monkey see, monkey do.

Jamie's factory rear locker got him pretty far
up the hill.

This is my "magazine" camera angle.  :-)

Oh, it wasn't that steep. Bad camera angle  :-)

Due to the IFS and no locker, I put on a
poor display.

Here is a huge pile of rocks that Kristian
tried to get up. Without a locker he didn't
get to far.

Doug shows us how it is done. Being locked
front and rear he makes it look easy.

Now Doug get's a chance to show off.

There's that "magazine" camera angle again.

Now Doug get's a chance to show off.
