December 13/2008 @ Harrison West

  In Attendance:

Chris & Doug - Ford Bronco (blue)
Wil - Toyota p/u (beige)
Trevor - Jeep YJ (black)

The plan was to go looking for snow. The weather forecast called for snow in town Friday night, so we figured it wouldn't be to hard to find
some up in the hills. Lets just say we were all disappointed that there was hadly any snow. That and the blowing wind and low temperatures
made for a "stay in the truck with the heater blaring" kind of day.  We didn't stay out to long, but it was a good of casual wheeling.

The start of the Weaver/Francis Traverse.

Both myself and Trevor had to work to get past the first obstacle.

Wil shows us how it's done.

The next slightly challenging part.

We took this side trail, and this crossditch was a little un-nerving. There
was a large drop off to your left, and the possiblity of sliding was great.

The top of the "easy" trail down to Hale Creek.

Lunch at Hale Creek beach.

We didn't stay long, as the wind was freezing!

Airing up.
