  In Attendance:

Chris - Ford Bronco (blue)
Wil & Chris - Jeep Rubicon (yellow)
Larry & Cam, Clay & Scott - Jeep Rubicon (burgundy)

I got an e-mail from Wil the other day, inviting me to tag along wtih him and Larry, as they were doing a "test drive" with a couple new Jeep
Rubicon's. The plan was to head up to the Elaho Valley area. Of course I couldn't say no to that offer, expecially seeing as how I've known
Larry for a long time, and never wheeled wtih him. This area doesn't offer anything challenging, but the scenery more than makes up for it.

Enjoy!

The GPS track of our day. I had to wing some
of it as my GPS was doing it's job properly.

Turning around on a dead end trail.

Another dead end, but worth it for that view.

Blue doing some posing.

We stopped for lunch at this creek.

We then climbed up into the hill's.

Nothing but recent logging up here, but again,
the view of the Elaho River was worth it.

This creek is a great place to take some pictures and cool down.

The water sprays over the bridge in an icy cold mist.

Wil continued back to pavement, where Wil and Chris had to head for home. The remaining Rubicon and myself went down Paradise Valley to
check out the lower entrance to Starvation Lake.

I did manage to squeeze between the rocks. I remember
when you could barely walk between them.

I hiked up to check out the barracade.

Crossing train track is illegal, so we went back the way we came.

Clay squeaked by no problem.

Coming back down.

Some more posing by the Chekamus River.

Clay trying to hit the log with rocks.

He never did manage to hit it.

We stopped at Boston Pizza in Squamish for some dinner, then hit the road for home. Luckily, there was no ctive construction
on the highway, so we made good time. Another awesome day of wheeling!

Here are a few of Larry's pictures as posted on BC4x4.
