& Harrison West

  In Attendance:

Chris & Ed - Ford Bronco (blue)

The log of our trip.

Airing down at Norrish Creek.

Heading down BJ's loop.

Posing next to Norrish Creek.

Indir coming up the creek bed.

Mike making it look easy.

Back on to the main road.

Indir's damage #1.

Indir's damage #2.

We continued on past the water tower. Our plans were to get as far as we could before the snow stopped us, but 1km up the road there
was a nice new shiny yellow gate, with no possible way around. We decided to head for Harrison West and check things out over there.

Eating lunch at the Weaver Spawning Channel.

Harrison Lake.

Playing in the gravel pit.

At this point, Indir's Explorer smelt like a 2-stroke bike. Upon inspection, he noticed that the motor had torqued up and the OBA pulley contacted the steel
transmission cooler line, thus putting a hole in it. We went back to the gravel pit for a trail fix, and after about 30 minutes, we were on our way to Hale Creek.

Thanks to Jon Bruce and Steve Dillen for stopping to make sure we were ok.

Hale Creek beach.

Mike polishing part of Indir's wheel.

Shiny!

TTB flex.

Heading up the hard line.

The V-rock en route to Sunrise Lake.

Mike tried.....

And tried.....

And tried.....

And tried.....

And tried.....

And tried a different line.....

He always puts on a good show.

Finally!

Indir's turn.

Sunrise Lake.

Where's Waldo?

Sunrise Lake.

The snow was slick, and wet snow was falling, making it even slicker.

The guys from the Herd of Turtles were up here just before us,
and they said they had to winch a few trucks out of this spot.

Mike prefers the skinny pedal over the winch cable.

Of course he made it.

I just walked right out with hardly any throttle.

Indir playing on the V-rock.

You know what's coming, right?

Wait for it.....

Big air! He had at least 12" of clearance at one point.

  My turn.

I tried to get some "Mikey Air", but just couldn't do it.

Back on the main road.

Playing on one of the side trails.

Indir lost transmission pressure from the steep incline, so Mike had to pull him down.

Airing up back at the fish hatchery.
