May 24/2008 @ Harrison West

  In Attendance:

Chris - Ford Bronco (blue)
Bryain & Shane - Jeep J20 (blue)

Brian had recently done a spring over and a few other things, so he wanted to do a little shake-down run to make sure everything was working
as it should, so we decided to head up the West side of Harrison. He brought along a co-worker that was entrigued by this thing we call a "hobby",
and he had a blast. Bryan lifted his left front tire going around the Keeper to the Weaver/Francis traverse, and Shane had to clean his shorts.

As usual for me, I grenaded the left front axle joint at the V-rock on the Weaver/Francis traverse, so I spent the whole day was 3WD. Yay!

Brian's truck performed as it should have, so all in all, it was another great day of wheeling!

Our trip in Google Earth.

I'm getting really tired of the first picture being of my carnage!
At least it was the left side this time.

The left side of the trail is where I did my
damage, so Brian stayed to the right.

Further up the trail.

Coming down the hard line to Hale Creek.

Lunch time at Hale Creek. Steve an a few others from the South Coast All-Terrainers
were camping here for the weekend, so wechatted with them for a bit.

The water was very high.

The V-rock on the trail to Sunrise Lake.

Sunrise Lake.

Heading for home.

Airing up at the Weaver Hatchery.

Update (June 15):

Finally replaced the broken shaft.

The ears were there when it first broke.
