there is a clearing on the trail "roughly" 21km off Hwy 3:
The co-ordinates for the clearing of the trail are 49* 16' 42.74 N
120* 43' 13.62 W
Bruce describes this spot as: it's before the first old mining building on the left side of the road , and past where the Friday Creek variation entered
onto the whipsaw road . The friday creek variation enterd the whipsaw road in at about 16 km ( From my rusty memory).
The area has a pullout with a fairly large grassy area right alongside the road , with a two wheel drive hill climb about 10 ft long to get back to the
main road in the middle ! Across from this grassy area is a road that branches up to a fairly large logging area , probably logged 15 years back .
