Glove Box Repair

When I bought this truck a few years ago, the glove box didn't close properly and didn't sit flush on the left side when closed. I decided to take a closer look at it to see what was going on.....

This is what I found. Whatever was supposed to be there was broken and gone, and the previouse owner rigged this
up. There was also a large nut wedged at the bottom right corner of the glove box, thus why it wouldn't close properly.

I removed everything.

I drilled a slightly larger hole and replaced all the hardware to provide a much better mount.

Closes tight and sits flush.

Looks the same, but is much more solid.
