We decided to try and find some snow today, and Squamish was the destination. In my haste to get the truck
packed this morning, I totally forgot to bring my camera, so my pictures are courtesy of my iPhone. And to
top it off, my PDA/GPS refused to turn on. Oh well, it was still a good day of wheeling.
Airing down at the start of the Mamquam FSR.
Heading up Stawamus Indian FSR (Indian Arm).
I was having some traction issues, so Mike went by me.
Further up Indian Arm.
After Indir winched two boulders out of the way, he gave Mike a pull.
Indir then gave me a pull, and herd a "bang".
He broke the right inner D44 shaft, so we snatched and winched
my rear end so I was back on track.
We went back down to the Mamaquam River for lunch, and Indir decided to swap out his axle shaft.
After lunch I lead the way up the Mamquam FSR. The snow was wet, and Clifford's
skinny E rated tires sucked. If I stayed in 4-lo and crawled, I was fine.
I let the two Explorers go past me.
Indir and Mike waiting for me.
I got hung up and couldn't move. Doug and I did a little shoveling, but Indir was soon to my rescue.
I then got stuck turning around.
Make sure you check out
Mike's picture's on BC4x4.
