DRL Bypass
Call me picky, but I like having control of my lighting. Here is how
to put a bypass switch for the DRL's (daytime running lights).
Using a switch allows you to retain the DRL's when you want them, and bypass them when you don't want them.

Remove the access cover on the left side of the dash.

Locate the DRL diode, cut the blue wire and connect both
ends to a 15a, SPST switch; I used a
Cole Hersee 54100.

I put the switch in the pocket to the left of the steering wheel. I also attempted to put a switch on the sentinel,
but that didn't work out. I left the switch in place as I'm sure I will use it for something some day.

Some plastic will have to be removed to clear the switches.

I left the part of the alignment hole for some added support.

Dash trim panel back in place and switch tested.

All done.
