Dash Lights

Driving home I had this happen; left side of the cluster went out.
Later when it was darker.

Pulled the cluster and did some testing.
.Problem #1: when I press in this spot, the light next to my finger comes back on.
Problem #2: this area has no connection, thus no power to the bulb to the far right.
The temporary/quick fix; one ground wire and one power wire
Tested and working.
I tried two different LED bulbs where the temp gauge is; neither were as good as a regular bulb.
When I re-installed the cluster, the tach and speedo pinned themselves as soon as I pluged it in. Upon starting the car, the tach went back to where it was supposed
to be, but the speedo stayed pinned. I removed the needle and went for a drive to re-calibrate it.. After a 30 minute drive, the cluster was still lit up.

Installed some cool white HP3 LED's from Diode Dynamics.
Upon install, I noticed the fuel gauge wasn't lit up.
Turns out that one of the jumpers I made in the previous repair needed adjusting.
After going for a drive, I noticed that the signal indicators were dimly lit. After some testing, this only
happens when the car is on. I swapped some regular bulbs into the corner lights, and all is good.

I thought that the dim lights only happened with the car running, but that has changed. The dim lights happens as soon as the park lights are turned on; via switch or automatically by the car.

After some research, I think this is my problem.....
V-LEDS.com: When I Step On My Brakes My Dash Lights Dim Or My Parking Lights Turn On, WHY?
Signal lights only light up when the car is running.
So, a resistor on each of the front signal light wires (blue wire) should solve the problem.

What I have learned and done over the past few days.....
Diode's installed on the blue wire of the front 3157 LED signal socket did not help.
Diode's installed on the blue wire of the front 194 LED signal socket did help, dash signals are still very dimly lit.
Car off, park lights off: dash signals off
Car off, park lights on: dash signals off
Car on, park lights off: dash signals off
Car on, park lights on: dash signals on
BUT, every once in a while things change. I get the above, plus.....
Car off, park lights on: dash signals on
Car on, park lights on: dash signals on
So, most of the time the problem is when the car is running and the park lights are on, but randomly it will happen even with the car not running.
I fell pray tio this inconsistency when I put the diode's on the front 194 sockets. I tested their operation step by step, and everything was working and testing perfectly until
I was done and re-aseembled. I did one last test; car off, lights on, car on, and the dash signals were very dimly lit. I am suspecting that the BCM is playing a role in this.
Diode (1N4006) installed on the front 194 blue wire.
Also had this dash bulb go out.
Re-did all of the temporary jumpers.

Went for a drive this evening and took some more pictures. Love the LED's at night, but the signals are a tad bright (they are nice in the daytime).
Car on, dash lights on, signals dimly lit.
Car off, park lights on, signals not lit.
Car on, park lights off, signals not lit.
Car on, dash lights on, signals dimly lit.
I will keep an eye on the signals, but I think they are dim enough that I can live with it.

One of the LED's starting flickering. If I turn the dimmer down half way it stops for a bit.

Another bulb issue. This one just went dim. It changes dimness, but never goes full on.
