Rear Brakes
March
5/2016
Over the past few day, I thought I heard some light brake noise at
stops. Well, last night on the way home it got really bad, but still
didn't do it all the time. I pulled the left rear tire to take a look,
and found the inner pad worn out; it had no friction material at all.
There's your problem! Turns out the lower caliper bolt was slightly
seized. I cleaned it up the best I could, but will have
to get a new one as the pin was sliding freely, but not as freely as
the others. I had some pads sitting around, so I threw them in, and the
right side was wearing fine, so no issues there.

Left rear pads. The inner pad is completely worn out.

The lower caliper bolt was slightly seized.

Right rear pads.

Installed
Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic pads.
