Voltage Booster Install
I bought this
ZZP
voltage booster last fall and finally took a few minutes to install it.
Unplug the alternator.
Plug the booster into the factory harness.
Plug the other end into the alternator.
UPDATE
Three months later: I leave to go to work this morning and have a
totally
dead battery. After installing a new battery, I find that the
alternator is putting out 15.2 volts (14.9/15.0 at the battery). Upon
removing
the voltage booster, I am getting 14.2 volts across the
board. The voltage booster is staying out of the car.
Voltage booster removed, tested 14.2 volts at the battery and the
alternator.
