Battery

Battery was dead one morning, so had to put it on the charger. It did charge
up, but wouldn't hold a charge (would loose about 1 volt in 8-12 hours).

I've been off work on medical leave for the past few
months, so haven't been driving the car much. The
battery has been going dead on me, so have had
to put the charger on it. But even after a charge,
it goes dead in less than 48 hours. I did a draw
test on the car, and there was no noticeable draw,
so today I took the battery out and took it to the
local Canadian Tire for them to charge and load
test. The result was.....


    
The battery tested fine.

Time for a new battery. The voltage drops to 11.7-11.9 overnight.



    
The old battery; almost 5 years old and just shy of 42,000km on it.
