How to add hood struts to your 07-15 CX-9.

Struts and ball mounts.



    
Lower mount locations, left and right.



    
Upper mount locations, left and right.



    
Lower bracket. I only had 1" wide material, so
I had to grind it down a little on the base to fit.



         
Drivers side bracket..



         
Passenger side bracket.



    
13mm wrench modified to access the upper ball-stud nut.




5/16" drill.



    
Remove the liner, drill out the holes for the push-pins
to 5/16" and install the ball mounts.



    
Re-install the liner and install the struts.




All done.
