The remote and headphones for the rear DVD player didn't come
with the car. I found this used set on e-Bay for $150 US.

Driving to work and noticed the Bluetooth wasn't working. That day,
on the drive home, it was working, and has worked fine ever since.

Due to my current health situation, I decided to have the new stereo
professionally installed. After some research, I took it to
Extreme Dreams Automotive in Abbotsford.
As I type this, I am sitting next door at Francisco's Cafe & Catering,
enjoying a dry place to wait and sip on some coffee.
Four hours later, only to find that the Maestro does not work with the CX-9.
He says I need the PAC-RP4-MZ11 to make things work, without the Maestro..

The problem with the Maestro RR: Couldn't get the Maestro to power up to send power to the radio at all.
iDatalink Tech Support confirmed that the Maestro RR will work on my vehicle.
Can I use the PAC-RP4-MZ11 and the Maesto RR?
PAC says no, one or the other.
iDatalink says.....

Changing the LCD display lettering via the PAC module.
May 15/2022
Plastic enclosure for the USB/3.5mm outlet; Hammond Mfg #1593QBK from RP Electronics.
Remote control for the Kenwood. Got it for $15 on Amazon.
The enclosure all done and ready to be screwed together.
I used Bondic to hold the outlet to the enclosure.
Two sided tape on the back.
The hinged cover will bind when the enclosure is mounted, so I trimmed off the hinges.
All done and ready to go in the car.

Bonding time.
Bonded together.
Wrapped it with cloth tape toclose in the back side.
Ran the wire along the top of the windshield, down the A-pillar and under the dash to the headunit.
