Good day,

I recently purchased one of your Dell X51v cradle's from GPSforLess:

I installed it the other day, and all is well, except when I have the GPS cable plugged in. When I do, and perform any operation on my PDA, the cursor goes all over the place and beeps continuously. The only way to stop it is to remove the PDA from the cradle or unplug the GPS cable. If I leave the GPS cable unplugged, the PDA works fine. This leads me to believe that there is a data problem between the GPS and the cradle.

My old iPaq 3850 PDA worked fine with the GPS, so I am confused as to what is going on.

I have contacted GPSforLess, but they have just told me to try a soft reset and/or a hard reset. I have done several soft resets with no change, and I don't see how a hard reset would change anything.

I really like this cradle, and the GPS plug was the main selling point for me, so I hope I can figure out what the problem is.

Any help would be appreciated.
