Project Black 'n Blue.....cont'd

Day Six (September 11/09)

I had the day off, so I spent a few hours messing with the Bronco.

I borrowed this from my dad. I was hoping that I could crack a few of
the body bolts with the impact gun, but my attempts were futile.

Here is what is left of the drivers side floor.I already had a patch where the dimmer switch was, but
now I'll have to make a larger patch. I spent about 15 minutes scraping all the dirt and debrit out of
there. You can see the two holes where dirt got in; why did Ford leave such large holes?????

This is how much dirt was crammed in there.

I cleaned out the passenger side last time;
the floor rot isn't as bad as the other side.

I jacked the body up enough to get a piece of wood under this crossmember
to take some weight off the right rear body mounts while I was working.

I ground the head off the bolt and pounded it through from the top,
then I put some wood in place of the bushing to support the body.

What is left of the right rear mount.
