Today I spent almost four hours working on the new radiator support. The plan
was to transfer over all the parts (speed nuts, headlight
buckets etc). Shortly after I started, I noticed that the two holes (for
the speed nuts) that the radiator attaches to, and the two lower "L"
brackets that support the radiator weren't part of the new radiator
support. Why call it a radiator support if it doesn't even do that? And
half of the other holes were either to small or to narrow, so I had to grind them accordingly.
The right radiator mount nut after making the holes.
The left radiator mount nut after making the holes.
The lower radiator supports still attached to part of the old rad support. Thankfully it
mounts right over an existing hole in the rad support, so I can bolt it into place.
