Today's task was the front axle. The right axle-joint was missing a cap, so I wanted to pull both shafts
and grind the inners for full circle c-clips (I already have 4340 outers ground to accept full circle clips).
Shafts out.
I started grinding the shafts, and got the short one pretty much finished. When I started the long one, I couldn't grind it with my light-duty
tools, so I went down to a friends shop to finish the job. Unfortunately I only got a little bit of work done, as it was late in the day, and
both of us had other things to do that evening. We called it a day and would start fresh the next day.
