HID Driving Lights
I converted my headlights (low beam) to 6000K HID a few years back, and the colour difference between them and my Piaa 2192
Xtreme white driving lights had always bothered me. Now that HID bulbs are so cheap, I finally broke down and swapped some
6000K HID H3 bulbs into the Piaa housings. I got the kit from Velocitygetter.com, which has a rep in Richmond, so I was able to
pick them up one night and save the extra shipping cost.
I didn't take pictures during the install. I mounted the ballasts' next to the headlamp one's, and becasue the HID bulb is so much
longer, I had the remove the grommet from the back of the Piaa housing to allow the wire end of the HID bulb to poke through,
then I put some silicone around it to seal it up (the housing has a built in vent tube).
