Project Black 'n Blue

Day 15 (October 8/09)

I spent some time yesterday at the recycler's where my buddy works, and managed to find a bunch of bolts that should work for
me. I'm still short two more body mounts, but at least I can get two more bushings installed and six bolts started. I'm going to head
down there tomorrow and get the last of the bushings that I need.

The upper and lower bushings, and bolt. This is for the front cab mounts.

These two bolts have 2 1/4" of thread and are 2 3/4" long.

These bolts have 2 3/4" of thread and are 3 1/2" long.

Upper bushing, 2 1/4".

Lower bushing, 1 1/2".

Upper and lower together, 3 3/4".

With a bolt threaded in all the way, the bushings compress to 3".

The left side ready to be tightened.

The right side ready to be tightened.

This is on the right side, second from the rear. The hole is supposed to be around 1 1/2", but it is closer to 1 3/4". There is a small
crack, which is why I drilled the hole to prevent is from spreading further. The Super Duty mounts are much larger, so the bigger
hole isn't an issue, but I will have to get the crack welded up at a later date.
