Walked the full length of fhe parking lot at work. Not my furthest
walk as an amputee, but it was the most uneven and hilly.

2021-06-04

Physiotherapy. After my stretching, did 5 minutes on the treadmill,
and a walk outside (with a pair of walking poles) around the
complex. This walk was great as I had to tackle curbs, hard
packed uneven gravel, hills, sunshine and fresh air.

Some screenshots from my phone showing total daily steps, and
physio steps only over the past few months. Things are picking up!

Today; 3443 steps for the day, 1372 done at physio.

May 14; 2434 steps for the day, 899 done at physio.

April 28; 2385 steps for the day, 474 done at physio.

Hodgson. Started the process for getting a new socket made.
Paperwork submitted and some "shims" put in my current socket.
Now I start my days in 3 ply socks and end around 10 ply.

Physiotherapy. I was told this could be my last session. I had to
take a bunch of tests, and passed with flying colours. I will
continue with the stretching/exercising I've been doing, and
increase and expand on them. A big thanks to Salima at
Queens Park Hospital for getting me to this stage of my recovery.

Hodgson. End of week #2 of wearing check socket #2. All is good
so they poured the mold for the new socket, and tweaked the
height some more.

My new trophy; the first of many.

The weather had gotten colder, so time to start wearing pants.

Hodgson. Been has been irritating me for about a week now, and is preventing
me from walking as much as I want to. Got some more shims put in the socket
as well as a new liner. Now he fits properly again.

Been getting these a lot lately (from my smart watch).

Today is the 2nd anniversary of the start of my "swollen foot" issue. 117.5 lbs
lighter, walking pretty good on my prosthetic and continuing to get even better.

Hodgson. Getting a leg cover.

All done. I got this for fucnctional reasons; without structure, my
right pant leg sits funny and the end of it drags on the ground.
